Check out our new website! I love our new home! We’ve moved to https://purposepages.com/
Here is the account of the most amazing prayer stories you will ever hear. It’s about how we moved into this new website home. After you hear this, you will see that God is supporting us.
It’s still early. Our Purpose Pages mission started just six months ago. My motto as I took the journey through my 20’s was: “Your 20’s are for finding yourself, and your 30’s are for executing on what you’ve found.” Well in my 20’s I found what I was looking for. I found who I was supposed to be. Then I met some business people who after seeing what I can offer the world, said, “You’ve been through some cool experiences to share.. Let’s find a way to get this inspiration out of you.” I’ve been a writer my whole life. Then they said, “Start a blog, find other like-minded souls searching for purpose, and then go from there.”
My mission began attracting others who were on similar missions and build a scene with them. That’s when I started seeing the next vision from God: I could build this platform into a blogging universe where people share their art and stories of overcoming the barriers that keep them from their life purpose.
But at that time I was limited by my subpar technical skills. So I began to pray for God to bring a website guy into my life and help me. That’s when amazing spiritual coincidences began to happen.
One night after my church’s underground Deeper worship night, I met an enthusiastic young man. We had a great talk. We ran into each other the next week at church.
I wondered how personal I should get with him since I’ve lived a crazy intense life. But I thought what the heck, if he’s going to be a new good friend, he’s going to have to learn of how I live life, and I started to tell him who I was and how I became me.
At one point in my life story, someone dies that was close to me. It was an extremely traumatic experience for me at the age of 21 which lead to years of soul searching
The minute I told that part of the story, my new friend began to cry. I couldn’t tell what I’d done to cause this reaction. It spooked me. But he said, “No, keep going, this means a lot to me.”
So I kept going, and my story only gets crazier.
At the end, I asked him if he was Ok. He wiped the tears away from his eyes, and said, “Your story just hit so close to home. Five years ago I involved in something similar. Since then I’ve turned my life around, and now I’m now part of one of the leading website development teams in Minneapolis.” He continued with excitement, “I believe in what you’re trying to do, and I want to help. Let’s build a new website that can handle your larger ambitions.”
He’s been a mentor to me the last few months and helped me build the new site from behind the scenes. Now here we’re ready to make it live. We’re climbing up our personal mountain, and this next stage is going to be even more exciting than the last. When we finally hit our peak, I’m now praying that we’ll be as bright and powerful as the sun. Thanks for supporting us. Keep coming back so you can be part of the team that made the climb with us.
Books are coming out later this year, and every year after that. More writers will be adding their columns to the site. We want to expand from writing to all the arts. Rock on my sisters and brothers, and let’s keep finding out purpose. CHECK OUT THE NEW SITE AT – https://purposepages.com/
