Money can feel unnecessarily complicated.

There are products, terminology, projections, decisions and questions we’re somehow expected to understand—and for many women especially, it can be easier to decide, “I’m just not a money person.”

Jennelle understands that feeling.

As an owner of Ashthorn Group and a financial-services professional, she has spent years in the industry and understands insurance, retirement income strategies, annuities, protection planning and the financial-services landscape. But she is not interested in making financial planning sound more complicated than it needs to be.

Her approach is simple: you don’t have to become a finance person to understand your own financial life.

Ashthorn Group exists to help individuals and families make informed decisions about protecting what they’ve built and preparing for what comes next.

For Jennelle, that means meeting people where they are, explaining financial concepts in normal language, asking good questions, and creating an environment where clients can ask theirs without embarrassment or intimidation.

She has a particular heart for women who want to better understand their family’s financial picture—whether they personally manage the household finances or their spouse traditionally takes the lead.

Being part of a partnership does not require being uninformed.

Understanding what your family owns, how you’re protected, where your income will come from later, what happens if life changes, and why particular financial decisions are being made can create confidence rather than fear.

Ashthorn also provides an opportunity for financial professionals and entrepreneurs looking for a place to build. Independent agents can develop their own businesses and identities while accessing the infrastructure, relationships and support of Ashthorn Group.

Whether you’re looking for guidance for your own family or exploring an opportunity to build within financial services, the conversation can start simply.

You don’t have to know everything before you walk through the door.

That’s what we’re here for.

Statement of Faith

Faith-Founded

My faith shapes the way I understand stewardship, service and responsibility.

I believe everything entrusted to us, our families, resources, opportunities, businesses and influence, ultimately belongs to God. Our responsibility is to handle those things with wisdom, integrity and care.

That does not mean faith gives us certainty about what tomorrow will bring. It means we can prepare wisely while trusting God with what remains outside our control.

At Ashthorn, faith is not a marketing tactic or a prerequisite for working with me. It is the foundation from which we personally seek to operate: serving people honestly, treating them with dignity, pursuing wisdom, and remembering that money is a tool…not the measure of a life.
