I cannot say enough amazing things about MAD Beauty Hair & Makeup. My situation was challenging and Sara was a ROCKSTAR through and through! 90% of my wedding party was coming from out-of-state for the ceremony in Gilbert. I could not meet with Sara for a bridal preview appointment so we had to coordinate everything through texts. I sent her hair and makeup pictures for inspiration and just crossed my fingers hoping that the outcome was going to be what I wanted for the most special day of my life! First challenge was my makeup. Not only do I have hooded eyes but my daily makeup routine consists of mascara. Like, that's it. Nothing else. So I really didn't want to show up to my wedding with such an overdone face that people wouldn't recognize me. Let me tell you, Sara knocked it OUT OF THE PARK!!! She has magic fingers and a touch of genius as she crafts her art. My face was a blank canvas that she created not only a beautiful masterpiece but one that truly reflected who I am without going overboard. I sat in awe watching my face and features enhanced to perfection. The next challenge was my hair. It's fine, mid length, and my husband doesn't like updos. I prefer more curls than waves but how was she going to juggle all of these requests? Again, those magic fingers and her artistic genius rose to the challenge. My hair turned out exactly as I wanted and the bonus is that it stayed in place the whole time! No drooping curls by the end of the day! I have to also touch on Sara's impeccable professionalism. My family, not familiar with the Mesa/Gilbert area at all, happened to book a hotel in a less than desirable location simply because it was close to our wedding venue. Sara came to our location, at the crack of dawn, and brought with her what seemed like her entire studio. And even though the environment was more sketchy than not, she conducted herself with a kind and happy demeanor, never once making us feel uncomfortable. Her relaxed attitude and enjoyable conversation through the entire process put us at ease and made the whole experience enjoyable. Because of Sara's artistic expertise, attention to detail, and ultimate professionalism, I enjoyed every minute of my wedding without worrying one bit about my makeup or hair. I can honestly say that behind the scenes Sara was the star of the show! I had the wedding of my dreams, my hair and makeup were complemented throughout the day, and all of this was possible because of Sara! I'd give her more stars if I could!
